Our local churches hold a special place in our hearts.

Apart from our regular services in them, we all have very personal memories of them – Christenings, Weddings, Funerals, First Communions and Confirmations – we all have our own stories of our local church.

They have stood the test of time and please God, they will continue to stand proud in the landscape of our parish for many, many years to come.

Parishioner and local artist, Frances McLoughlin has captured the beauty of each of our four churches in a series of captivating paintings which are simply stunning. Frances has very kindly agreed to donate prints of her paintings to the parish which we will sell as part of our fundraising efforts. The paintings will be on display in St Malachy’s Church from 17^th April and will be available to purchase from 28^th April.

These prints will hang beautifully in your home as a constant reminder of the special memories you have of your local church. They will also make special gifts for family and friends, particularly those who are no longer in our parish.

We will provide more details of how to purchase in due course but in the meantime, I want to thank Frances for her kind support of our parish fundraising activities.
