INCREASE YOUR GIVING TO THE CHURCH BY 25% WITHOUT IT COSTING YOU A PENNY.
GIFT AID – Charity Number XN47916
Let the taxman pay the extra by completing a Gift Aid declaration
How does it work?
Gift Aid is surprisingly easy to use. Gift Aid can apply to donations of any amount, large or small, by cash, cheque, or standing order.
If you are a UK taxpayer, all you have to do is give the Church a simple Gift Aid declaration which is readily available from the Parish Office or from the front of all boxes of Church envelopes.
What’s more – one single Gift Aid declaration can apply to all past donations you have made in the past 4 years and to all future donations you make.
As a higher rate taxpayer looking to reclaim tax from your donation, all you have to do is remember to include details of your charitable gifts on your tax form.
Do you qualify?
Providing you pay as much tax (income and/or capital gains) as the Church will be entitled to reclaim on your donations in the same financial year, you are entitled to use Gift Aid. For example, if you wish to Gift Aid your charitable donations that total £200 in one year, you will need to have paid at least £50 in to the taxman in respect of that tax year.

Northern Ireland introduced its formal system for charities registration on 16 December 2013 via the relatively new Charities Commission for Northern Ireland. All charities must now prepare an annual report to be forwarded to the CCNI for display on the Commission’s public register of charities. However, be assured that all donations received, however big or small, are completely confidential.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and for the understanding you show by your consideration to regular planned giving and tax efficient donations.
