Feast of the Presentation of the Lord – Blessing of recently Baptised

This Feast is a remembrance of the Lord and Mary, Mother of the Lord. With candles in their hands the people go out to meet the Lord and to acclaim him like Simeon, who recognised Christ as ‘a light to reveal God to the nations.’ * Blessing of Candles and Children will take place at this Mass.

In the Parish we invite Parents to bring their Children, particularly those who have been Baptised since this time last year, to join us as we consecrate their Children to the Lord, as we ask the Lords protection on them. Please let us know that you will be attending so that we can have a Consecration Prayer Card for your child.
