Today, we celebrate 12 years since Pope Francis became Pope. From the beginning, he has led with kindness, humility, and a deep love for all, especially those on the margins. His message of mercy and justice, along with his closeness to the most vulnerable, have touched hearts around the world.
As we give thanks for his leadership, we also pray for him as he remains in hospital. May God bless him with strength, healing, and peace.
Lord, watch over Pope Francis. Give him comfort, healing, and the grace to keep leading with love. Amen.

Pope Francis' clinical condition remained stable on Tuesday, and he did not experience episodes of respiratory failure or bronchospasm, according to the Holy See Press Office.
"The Pope did not run a fever, and he remained alert, cooperative with therapies, and oriented. This morning he transitioned to high-flow oxygen therapy and underwent respiratory physiotherapy. As scheduled, tonight he will resume non-invasive mechanical ventilation until tomorrow morning. The prognosis remains guarded."

We need to continue our Prayers for the Holy Father, Pope Francis. The Holy Father, this afternoon, after a morning spent alternating between respiratory physiotherapy and prayer in the chapel, experienced an isolated episode of bronchospasm. This caused an episode of vomiting, which led to him inhaling some and a sudden worsening of his respiratory condition.
The Holy Father was promptly subjected to bronchial aspiration (to clear his airways) and was put on non-invasive mechanical ventilation, which improved his oxygen levels.
He has remained alert and aware at all times, cooperating with therapeutic treatments.
The prognosis, therefore, remains guarded.
In the morning, he received the Eucharist.
This statement, provided by the Holy See Press Office on Friday evening, came as the Pope continues to be treated for bilateral pneumonia in Rome’s Gemelli Hospital. He was admitted on Friday, 14 February, following an infection of the respiratory tract.
About 24 to 48 hours will be needed to be able to assess the Pope's clinical condition following the isolated bronchospasm episode.
