Parish Mission 19th – 25th November 2016
NEWS OF GREAT JOY!!!!
On this Mission Sunday and to conclude this “Extraordinary Year of Mercy” on 20th November 2016, called by Pope Francis, and prayerfully lead us into the Season of Advent and the joyful celebration of Christmas, we are on this Mission Sunday…calling OUR Parish to prayerfully celebrate a PARISH MISSION, beginning at the Vigil Mass on Saturday 19th November and ending with a Penitential Service on Friday 24th November. The Parish Mission will be lead by Fr. Paschal Scallon CM and Fr. Pat Collins CM, as well as lay members of the Vincentian Order Mission Team.
We will update you in the coming weeks with a list of Masses and Liturgical times as they become available. We encourage ALL parishioners to keep these dates free, so that together as a parish… we may return to the Lord, be renewed in our faith and at the end of our Mission, in the theme of the call this year to rejoice that we have been blessed to be his; “Missionary in our world today”.
